There's not much else to say about this. She is the perfect fit.
Shirley's growing up, whether we like it or not.
But she will always be our little baby bird.

Our nightly ritual of reading to Shirley will only get more interesting as Rosa gets older. I'll be interested to see how many books we'll be reading, each evening, in a year or two....I'm guessing 10 or more.

One of my favorite rituals at the moment is our Saturday morning breakfasts together. My dad use to, and probably still does, make the standard bacon, eggs and toast that always hit the spot. I can only hope mine does his justice and at least hold the same kind of memories for Shirley and Rosa.
